Cinder Hill Farm

CINDER HILL FARM

Carol and Malc would like to welcome you to Cinder Hill Farm, a working farm sitting in the heart of Leicestershire in the National Forest.

Come and stop with us!

About The Farm

A beautiful 65 acre arable farm in the heart of Leicestershire.

What You Will Find Here

Produce / Seasonal Items

We sell seasonal farm grown produce including sunflowers, tulips, daffodils, potatoes, tomatoes, beans, courgettes, pumpkins and squashes. We do not use chemicals on our produce. Our free range hens produce eggs for sale daily. We also stock duck eggs, kindling, logs and have plants, pots and hanging baskets and some basic essentials for sale.

J&J Bees Honey & Jam - The honey comes from hives locally in Loughborough and Griffydam, however next year J&J Bees will be adding 5 hives into our allotment field and so we will be able to stock our own Cinder Hill honey from the spring.

We can take cash, bank transfer or card payment for produce and other items.

Beautiful CL site

Our ¾ acre grass site is fully enclosed with easy access off the main A512 road running between Ashby de la Zouch and Loughborough.
The site sits away from the road in a valley with lovely views over surrounding fields. Our farm contains the site of the old Charnwood Forest Canal Bed and a couple of marked footpaths enable walking from the site. Sunrise and sunset can be a wonderful sight and we have a picnic table set up for you to enjoy a morning coffee or evening tipple.

What's on at Cinder Hill Farm

All events take place in our Back to Nature Field and entry includes stone painting, building a bug hotel, animal treasure hunt and wildlife spotter sheet activities. We have free car parking and toilet available. There are gazebos on the field for shade/shelter. There is a picnic table seating 6 and Jack & Jill chairs with a table in between for visitors use. All events can be booked on a private/exclusive basis for groups, schools, clubs, societies, etc – speak to us if interested. The field can also be hired for suitable private events, activities, classes or exercise. Our philosophy is to try and provide affordable activities and events for all ages to enjoy the countryside. We love to see people enjoying themselves here as much as we love being here!

Please wear clothing and footwear suitable for the weather and ground conditions as it is a rural field and can be uneven and slippery in places if muddy or very dry.
